This December, Lascar Electronics introduces a new add on board to its ever growing PanelPilot range. The SGD ADPT-420 offers dual channel 4-20mA galvanic isolation, which is ideal for more industrial applications.
The SGD ADPT-420 interfaces directly with Lascar’s PanelPilot “M” range of displays. The add on board can be mounted directly to the SGD meter via its 14-way IDC connector, making for easy connection and quick installation. As well as mounting directly to the meter, the add on board is powered from the host SGD.
The SGD ADPT-420 has an operating voltage of 12-30V d.c. and does not require a floating PSU with respect to the current loops. By following the calibration procedure on the product data sheet, the PanelPilot can be programmed with any of the voltage configurations found within the control software (downloadable for free here).
The SGD ADPT-420 is now in stock and retails at £45.
